Affirming Hawai’i

If Barack Obama becomes president, what a great year it will be for Hawai’i. The UH Warriors go to the Sugar Bowl; Bryan Clay wins the decathalon and the Wai’pio team wins the Little League World Series. Seeing Hawai’i recognized for world class achievements, other than a beautiful tropical island, is really nice to see.

The Ultimate Battle for Hawai’i’s Best Grinds

So reads the subtitle of the website, wowgrinds.com. The way they’ve set up their site and the challenges, the claim may be justified. I’m a little annoyed that we didn’t do something like this. (They put our burger challenge to shame, guys!) Anyway, kudos to the makers of the site. It’s pretty cool. Check it out.
