The normally quite expensive Morton’s Steakhouse is having a Steak and Seafood for Two special until Sept. 30, 2008. $110 for two people (or $55 each)! You each get a seafood appetizer (shrimp, crab cake or scallops); salad (Caesar or House); Steak (single cut filet); Side dish (potato, veggie); and dessert (hot chocolate cake or key lime pie). Awesome!
Perhaps everyone knows about this already, but this is my most recent “great deal!” find. It’s going to the Regal Theatres at Dole Cannery on a Tuesday. Tuesday is free popcorn day AND dollar hot dog day. I got a large diet coke ($4.50), small popcorn (free!) and 2 hotdogs (I was really hungry because I snacked instead of having lunch) for…you got it! $6.50! Awesome!
Hey Everyone! Reid just had his (umin-num)th birthday! Hope your (umin-num)th year is filled with sparkling conversation, intellectual stimulation and many happy moments with the newest edition to your family (and I don’t mean your sister-in-law, although I hope you guys do have many happy moments with her, too)!
Hi! If anyone is interested in reading about restaurants I’ve reviewed, check out: www.yelp.com/honolulu and do a member search for Demur E. Most recently, I’ve reviewed Cafe Kaila (Market City) and Tango (Ward).
LiveJournal.com! Can you believe it? (I can’t!) Mitchell convinced me to start my own on-line journal. (Yup, I’m blaming him). If anyone is interested, check out: http:// sweetlydemure.livejournal.com.
I don’t trust a man who uses the word evil eighteen times in ten minutes. If you’re half evil, nothing soothes you more than to think the person you are opposed to is totally evil.

You do not examine legislation in the light of the benefits it will convey if properly administered, but in the light of the wrongs it would do and the harms it would cause if improperly administered.
